St. Michael’s Community College has been operating for the past seventeen (17) years. Founded by Mr. Lincoln Persad, the school was opened to provide affordable, quality, private secondary school education.

MEET THE FAMILY: OUR TEAM
CEO
Mr. L. Persad is the founder and CEO of St. Michael’s Community College. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been in education for over thirty (30) years. He is dedicated to the development of young people. He serves on various National Sporting Boards. His steadfast and “never give up” attitude has been the backbone of St. Michael’s and has made us very successful!
PRINCIPAL/Head of Languages Department
Mrs. N. Sewdass-Mangaroo has been at the College for ten (10) years. She has been our Principal for the past eight (8) years. She holds a degree in Linguistics, Language and Education and has been teaching for over ten (10) years. She has been marking the SEA, CSEC and CAPE exams for many years. She holds a lot of experience in the field of leadership and education. Her passion for education and children makes her a motherly figure to many of our students. She was nominated in 2019 by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs as an Outstanding Youth Mentor in Trinidad. Her cheerful nature, dedication and loyalty to the students and school is part of what makes us number one! She teaches; English A, English B, Social Studies, Spanish and Geography.
VICE PRINCIPAL/ Dean of Discipline
Miss Ali is our dedicated Vice Principal. She holds a degree in Biology Pre Med and has taught at both the Secondary and Tertiary Level. She is also the head of the Math and Science Department and teaches Maths, Add Maths, Physics and Chemistry. She has been in the field of education for a number of years and her dedication and commitment to students makes her an integral part of our team!
Head of Business Department/ Dean of Discipline
Miss Seepersad holds a plethora of knowledge in the Business sector and holds a degree in Education and Business Studies. With over 8 years teaching experience under her belt her passion for teaching is to be admired. She is a passionate teacher! She teaches Social Studies, POB, POA and OA and is also a Lower School Dean and the Head of the Business Department.
Department of Languages/ Dean of Studies
Miss Gopaulsingh is a part of our Languages Department and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. She has been a teacher at both the Primary and Secondary Level and has many years of experience in this field. Miss Gopaulsingh is also a Dean of Studies for the Lower School. Her passion, love and dedication to students makes her a great part of the St. Michael’s Team.
Department of Maths and Sciences/ Dean of Studies
Miss Dhanpaul is a Petroleum Engineer with a passion for teaching. She has many years of experience working with students at both the primary and secondary level. She holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering and is pursuing Paralegal Studies as well. Her dedication to teaching and her students makes her an integral and phenomenal addition to our dynamic team at St. Michael’s.
Administrative Manager
Uncle Mik” as he is fondly called by our students keeps our school up and running. He wears many hats at the school and without his willing attitude and joyful nature our school would not be where it is today! He is part of the foundation of what it means to be “St. Michael’s”!
